Chevrolet has just announced a new special edition for the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, the Custom Edition, for active families who want an SUV with towing capability without breaking the bank. The Tahoe’s best towing capabilities have usually been reserved for the higher trim levels which include a lot of extra features that not all SUV shoppers wanted or needed. The Tahoe Custom adds 6,600 pounds of towing capacity to the Tahoe LS, providing plenty of towing power at a lo MSRP of $44,995. “The Tahoe Custom is a response to strong customer demand for Tahoe, as well as the full-size SUV segment moving upmarket,” said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet Trucks marketing director. “Customer appetite for features like heated and cooled seats, adaptive cruise control and a head-up display created an unmet need in the marketplace for customers who want the cargo and towing capability of a full-size SUV to go camping, boating or off-roading but don’t necessarily want all of the option content offered on a Tahoe Premier.” Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of Chevy Tahoes which the Custom edition is expected to join next month.
